This article aims to analyze the spectacle Looping: Bahia Overdub through elements that make up the notion of party dramaturgy, such as: ritual, negotiation, dramaturgy, chaos and collaboration. The understanding of this study, in the dramaturgical sense, is focused on the elaboration of an event that uses commonly recognized characteristics in the context of popular festivities, as a way of proposing logics of coexistence and collectivity that differ from everyday relationships. It will be used a critical report written by the author of this study, highlighting the experience in stages and the “performative choreographic strategy” as body agreements. In addition to this, the references of street parties used by the artists will be used, as well as concepts that contribute to the definition of the highlighted elements. In this way, the reverberations of this set of references will be observed in an aesthetic and festive proposal that intends to produce engagement experiences, approaching, therefore, articulations that concern the dimensions and limits of participation.
