O texto apresenta oito mulheres negras brasileiras, dramaturgas atuantes na
cena contemporânea com o objetivo de incentivar a leitura de materiais de autoria negra.Compreende-se que estas mulheres negras que estão movendo internamente as estruturasda narrativa através de sua escrita teatral, oferecendo outras formas de representar o signonegro, são elas: Cristiane Sobral, Dione Carlos, Luh Maza, Viviane Juguero, Sol Miranda,Leda Maria Martins, Grace Passô e Maria Shu.
