NEGROS PRESSÁGIOS: UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE A ADAPTAÇÃO LITERÁRIA PARA O TEATRO A PARTIR DA ELABORAÇÃO DE IMAGENS

O presente artigo propõe uma análise do processo de construção da peça Negros Presságios, uma adaptação do conto O homem de areia do escritor alemão E. T. A. Hoffmann. Esta análise abordará desde os processos de leitura, percepção e criação de imagens sob a ótica do conto, até o momento de entender a mídia final e transpor as idealizações para a cena. O presente estudo tem por base não apenas revisão bibliográfica, mas a própria análise da vivência dessa montagem. Partiu-se do entendimento do processo de leitura a partir de algumas definições de Vincent Jouve (2002) para que fosse possível estabelecer diálogos entre estes e os escritos de Umberto Eco (1972) sobre a obra de arte. Com relação à adaptação, Linda Hutcheon (2013) e Ítalo Calvino (1990) serviram como base para não apenas auxiliar o grupo a levantar possibilidades e questionamentos teóricos, mas também a analisar criticamente as ações após a montagem.
