O TEATRO E O SONHO: UMA INTRODUÇÃO

O presente artigo analisa três peças teatrais que traduzem a lógica do subconsciente para aforma dramática. O objetivo da análise é encontrar conexão entre estas obras e os conceitospsicanalíticos de deslocamento e condensação. O artigo identifica, em Rumo a Damasco, de AugustStrindberg, Grande e Pequeno, de Botho Strauss, e Por Elise, de Grace Passô, construções ficcionaissimilares ao que a psicanálise descreve como deslocamento e condensação. Sem empreender umaleitura positiva do conteúdo das obras, o que se pretende é mostrar que há uma relação visível entre omodo como os sonhos são compreendidos pela ciência e o modo como eles são representadosartisticamente, em especial no teatro. Mais que isso, pretende-se mostrar que esta relação, nas peçasanalisadas, está na manipulação artística do binômio deslocamento-condensação.
