This conversation translates an encounter between Rosemeri Rocha and Mariana Lemos, two artist-researchers in the field of dance who, for decades, have been interested in studies of investigation, perception, and creation processes. This connection took place in 2024, when Rose Rocha spent three months in Lisbon (Portugal) undertaking a postdoctoral internship at Faculty of Human Kinetics, whose theme was gesture as a dramaturgical trace of UM – Núcleo de Pesquisa Artística em Dança at Unespar. From the practices carried out at c.e.m. - centro em movimento, their partnership was established, specifically in the collaborative creation of the solo conceived and performed by Rose Rocha, titled “Corpo do Meio”. This conversation emerges as an offshoot of the research, involving several issues in question, and the research of partner artists Fabio Cadore and Mariana Batista.
