The watchwords are musical expressions present in several collective moments of the MST and other social movements, being an important way of materializing its agendas, principles and identities. The theme of this text is the watchwords sung by the Sem Terrinha of the MST during the 1st National Meeting of the Sem Terrinha Children, which took place in 2018 in the city of Brasília. The objective is to comprehended how the Sem Terras use slogans to promote their political participation. The sources consulted are: reports prepared by the collective of educators who accompanied the children during the meeting; video at the Meeting published on the MST youtube channel, lyric video of songs by Sem Terra: music audios from digital platforms: materials about the event published on websites. The sources are analyzed in the light of social studies of childhood and Cussiánovich's protagonist participation category (2009). The watchwords are forms of political participation, as they express and materialize the opinions, agendas and struggles in the different moments that were sung by the Sem Terrinha during the Meeting.
