This research/drawing presented part of the biography of the author, a theater teacher in training at the time. The presence of a queer body in public schools during the supervised internships of the degree in Theater brought vectors of dialog and theatrical practice that addressed the theme of gender and sexuality. From then on, the research presented reflective analyses on the training of teachers who recognized themselves as artists in the process and, in the encounter with Queer theory, empowered themselves to combat self-censorship, fears and questions in their pedagogical practices within the school space. The study showed that the presence of a queer body in school, as well as being a political act, presents the possibility of dialog with diversity in the construction of knowledge conveyed by society, understanding that the school curriculum should work on a list of gender/sexuality practices in order to build a diverse and plural society, free from intolerance and prejudice. It was concluded that the theory helped the teacher during classroom processes, respecting individuality and diversity, and combating any kind of self-censorship that the Queer-Artist-Teacher might experience.
