Abstract

Focusing on the graphic novels’ potential in scientific education, in this study, there is the option of rescuing two texts to integrate the artscience theme and materialize it as part of the plot of a graphic novel, using Will E. Eisner and Scott McCloud’s theoretical works as a contribution. This in order to (re)humanize the knowledge and the ways of exploring it in physics teaching. To do so, at first, there is a contextualization and an explanation of the plot of the graphic novel. Subsequently, questions are discussed about the thematic content in terms of matter and the structural elements – of sequential art – contained in the composition of this graphic novel world. Finally, theoretical implications are provided for the use of it in the educational field.
