The relationship between universities and basic education networks is essential for continuous professional development. In Natural Sciences, the discussion revolves around the integration of experimental practices and scientific literacy in the digital era. The study investigated the challenges related to the use of digital technologies and experimental activities by Basic Education teachers, based on the Science and Technology Training Meeting. Data were collected through questionnaires, qualified by categorical analysis, and analyzed using the "Self, Others, and the World" framework to identify how teachers categorize their challenges. The knowledge and adaptability in the use of digital tools represent a limiting factor in the acquisition of information and in the teaching-learning dynamics, demonstrating the need for the implementation of didactic-pedagogical strategies that enhance the quality of education in the digital era.
