Socialização organizacional em instituições federais de ensino: implicações sobre o desempenho dos servidores públicos

The present study it seeks to theoretically investigate whether the processes of reception, integration and socialization of newcomers can represent a factor that influences people's behavior and performance, or even the quality of services provided by public servants. From its exploratory objective and descriptive character, the theme is elucidated through bibliographical and documentary research, exploring the theme, in a dialectical and qualitative approach. It was found that the socialization programs aim to make it possible for the newcomer to adapt to the organization and from the latter to the new member. When well applied, socialization programs can bring benefits to both the employee and the organization and allow better targeting of actions and decisions to achieve organizational objectives.
