This work aims to analyze the contributions of a training process carried out with Early Years teachers from three municipal schools in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. The methodology is characterized as qualitative and exploratory research, carried out with twenty Early Years teachers who, at the same time, At the end of a training process, they answered an online form containing eleven essay questions. Where during data analysis the questions were grouped into four thematic axes, being: -The Pampa biome in Science teaching; -Contextualization and interdisciplinarity in teaching; -The importance of Environmental Education; -Teachers' considerations about the training process. The results indicate that teachers believe it is possible to include the topic in classroom discussions, recognizing that contextualization enriches learning and interdisciplinarity allows the integration of content. Environmental Education is essential to develop critical and ecological awareness in students from an early age, allowing them to reflect on the impacts of lack of care for the environment. Furthermore, the responses showed that the training process promoted a critical reflection on practice, encouraging teachers to consider new approaches and teaching strategies, where the Pampa biome as a multidisciplinary theme makes it possible to approach different themes, in a contextualized and integrated way. Therefore, it is important that school managers provide training processes that contribute to teachers' needs, offering adequate resources so that they can incorporate Science teaching into their planning.
