Sustainability encompasses reflections, plans and actions for environmental preservation aligned with sustainable practices that should be taught in formal and informal education. Practicing environmental actions, with the help of technology, makes learning more attractive, especially for children and young people of the current generations. This experience report aims to present the development trajectory of the Green School application and its test, by students and teachers of a state high school and technical school in the city of Praia Grande (SP). The planning, site preparation and monitoring of the planting-harvesting cycle of an organic school garden was the data generator to weekly feed the application, which was tested by teachers and students. It was found that, even with a small sample of tests, there were gains in learning, evidenced by the student's protagonism in the actions performed, in addition to the use of technology encouraging students to participate. The project also revealed the need for financial investment to enable the expansion of the application to more students and teachers. However, it was noted that, even with the lack of funds, the involvement and integration of objectives and actions between educators, students and the school management body is a strong foundation that leads to positive and scalable results.
