Abstract

The rapid evolution of digital technologies has been changing the way we live and learn. Teachers face the challenge of integrating these tools into their teaching practices to enrich the classroom learning experience. To this end, the continued training of teachers for the pedagogical use of digital technologies plays a crucial role in contemporary education. This work presents an excerpt from the master's thesis that aimed to analyze the perceptions of teachers during a continuing education course for the pedagogical use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies. Twenty teachers from the initial years of Elementary School from a municipal school located in the north of the state of Rio de Janeiro participated in the research. The research was conducted under a qualitative approach, employing pedagogical intervention methods. The data collected during the course were analyzed based on theoretical support. The results presented revealed a high level of complexity on the part of teachers, in addition to indicating prospects for improvement in their teaching practices, with the incorporation of technological resources.
