Abstract

Abstract:

This article deals with the relationship between the creative process and walking in nature. It uses the work of Francesco Careri as a reference, since his books treat the act of walking as an aesthetic practice. It applies the book on the history of walking by Rebecca Solnit, in which the author constructs a historical account of walking. In the relationship between walking and creating, it first takes the paradigmatic example of Richard Long's proposals. Finally, it deals with the poetics of the creative process developed from the language of engraving in dialogue with the aesthetic practice of walking in the landscape. To this end, the article analyzes certain artistic practices associated with the aesthetics of walking in order to engage in dialogue with latent issues in today's society.

Keywords: walking and creating; landscape; engraving; artist's book; creative process.
