A Arte de Juraci Dórea: Percepção Visual Aplicada e Diálogos Intersemióticos

Este artigo investiga a relação das categorias visuais de obras de Juraci Dórea com a representação de signos da cultura sertaneja. A pesquisa é desenvolvida pela análise intersemiótica entre as obras de Dórea, o romance Seara vermelha, de Jorge Amado e o filme Deus e o diabo na terra do sol, de Glauber Rocha. Ícones, índices, símbolos pictóricos, signos literários e cinematográficos foram investigados de forma isolada e comparativa, a fim de se identificar os sentidos socioculturais e similaridades que eles evocam, através de suas articulações. O suporte teórico mais relevante foi encontrado nas teorias da percepção visual. Além disso, o trabalho é também interdisciplinar porque dialoga com os campos da semiótica, antropologia e filosofia.
