Neurociências: A Filosofia e o Novo Status do Inconsciente

RESUMO: este artigo reúne autores da neurociência e ciências cognitivas, para tecer um breve panorama sobre recentes avanços científicos de suas áreas de pesquisa. Discorremos sobre novas concepções acerca da entrada de dados pelos órgãos dos sentidos, as consequências emocionais da interocepção e da percepção, além das atribuições das esferas do inconsciente e da consciência. A quantidade de informações ambientais e internas que segue para o inconsciente selecionar, desabilita ao menos duas crenças tradicionais: a falta de qualidade das informações disponibilizadas pelos sentidos físicos e a obscuridade do inconsciente, que se acreditava ser um vasto abismo de traumas e instintos grosseiros.
