Abstract

This article discusses about teacher training and remote teaching. For this, a survey of research was carried out in the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) between the years 2010 and 2022. This is a bibliographic study of the state of knowledge type. “Training” and “Remote Education” were used as descriptors, and it was possible to find 18 dissertations and 2 theses from 12 stricto sensu Graduate Programs in different Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The results revealed that, although continuing education courses to work in remote teaching were offered to the teachers participating in the research, these training proved to be insufficient for teachers to effectively master the knowledge necessary for effective teaching practice in remote teaching, however despite the challenges caused by the gaps in training, the teachers showed dedication to overcome the difficulties and be able to carry out the work remotely.
