Trends in inclusive education in science teaching based on the analysis of Brazilian scientific publications

Abstract

This work aims to investigate what are the trends found in publications in Brazilian journals that relate to the approach to inclusive education through a bibliographic research of predominantly qualitative nature with the intention of conducting a survey of the perspectives presented by researchers regarding inclusive education to enable the analysis of the main characteristics of inclusive education in science education with the objective of classify these characteristics together with the main results obtained by research related to the theme inclusive education, through a methodology based on four stages, which are: 1) Selection of national journals for study; 2) Data collection through articles addressing the theme; 3) Screening from the full reading of the articles; 4) Analysis of articles. The results presented were obtained through the analysis of the articles through the definition of the following criteria: Characterization; Methodological Aspects; Theoretical Basis and Results. At the end of this survey, it was observed the direction of the attention of research related to inclusive education in the teaching of Sciences for teacher education, in order to promote discussion about the main difficulties in the implementation of inclusive education and in relation to interversions in the classroom, as forms of approaches aimed at contemplating inclusive teaching in regular school, as well as expectations, challenges and contributions of the researches that address this theme.
