This article investigates Environmental Education (EE) practices in the Municipal Education Network of Almirante Tamandaré (PR), with an emphasis on the relationship between education and territory and the use of indicators as evaluative tools. The research adopted a participatory approach, through documentary analysis and the application of the Environmental Education Indicators Matrix, based on the Theory of Action. The results indicate that democratic management, contextualized curricular practices, and community engagement initiatives strengthen EE in schools. The four dimensions analyzed—Management, Curriculum, Physical Space, and Community—show advances such as the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals and the incorporation of sustainable practices into everyday school life, despite ongoing challenges related to infrastructure, teacher training, and social participation. The presence of the Karst Aquifer—essential for the water supply of the Curitiba Metropolitan Region and vulnerable to contamination—emerges as a strategic element for contextualizing EE and fostering critical territorial awareness. It is concluded that articulating curriculum, territory, and public policies can promote more sustainable, participatory, and transformative educational practices.
